Assembly manual for HPE clamp saddles

ASSEMBLY MANUAL
For HPE clamp saddles from 20 to 315 mm diameter

1. picture A: Clamp saddle; B: Seal; C: Reinforcing ring; D: Bolts and nuts	2. picture Place the seal into the slot under the upper part of the clamp saddle and the bolts into the bottom part of it
3. picture Place the bottom part of the clamp saddle onto the pipe. Take care of that the pipe is clean.	4. picture Place the upper part of the clamp saddle onto the bottom part
5. picture Coil the nuts up to the bolts	6. picture With a wrench pull each of the nuts
7. picture Drill the pipe via the threaded part of the clamp saddle	8. picture Completely assembled clamp saddle

IMPORTANT:

When you are drilling the pipe, avoid to causing any damage in threads
Use the greatest possible size of driller
During the drilling procedure some piece of chip can fall into the pipe, which can cause occlusion
If the nuts are not pulled completely, there can be dripping of flowing at the seal
The threaded part of the clamp saddle has to be covered with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) braid or tape
The threaded connection of fitting has to be coiled in completely (useful lenght)
